High on Style...

Updated: Nov 25, 2019

Hello peeps,

I am back!! Been missing me?? Yes, it took me a few days to come back, especially as per the blogging rule book! However, I do have a fair reason to be away and being a little slow on my blog. Do you guys want to know what kept me busy all this while??? ...... Well, how about me bringing this up in my next blog! So, stay tuned... 😄

Next in my blog is a feast for your eyes... my LOD (the Little Orange Dress) The dress boasts of simplicity but is still high on style quotient. On top of it, it's so versatile and can be styled and accessorised in many ways... if that's not enough, it allowed me to recycle and reuse it. YES, recycling/reusing of the clothes is something we have been hearing about since our naani-daadi days but over the years, we lost the significance and fun associated with it. But now is the time to revive those good old habits. So happy that this trend is fast catching up. You got it right...recycling/rewearing outfits is the new chic! It favors our environment in leaps n bounds.

Coming back to the dress, I bought this dress a few years back when I was preggie with my second son. The dress was super comfy to accommodate my baby bump and stylish at the same time. The golden belt not only gave me a cute look but also accentuated the positives. For the little party look, I chose the neck piece and earrings matching with the belt and the shrug.

After the pregnancy, the dress was still as chic with few easy-breezy redos.

Next, I wore this dress with my new animal print boots. Another love of mine! These boots make a perfect style statement, are appealing and so smooth to walk. The brown leather jacket was an easy choice to go perfectly with the boots.

For my accessories and jewelry, I hunt and always go for statement pieces, I am well known and often teased for my collection. But wearing a piece of jewelry just because it's there, is a fashion faux-pas for me!! I am a minimalist when it comes to that. Any jewelry that I wear, must justify some fashion/style mantra or I better be less accessorised! As I was dressing up for a fun afternoon with my friends and to grab all the attention on my boots & jacket, I chose to wear just my big golden loops and kept the look trendy and uber cool!

The last thing I needed...in fact, my most favorite thing to always carry before I step out, my SMILE!!😄As I totally believe 'happy girls are the prettiest' What do you think?

And another time, I paired the dress with a long neck-chain as I was wearing a short shrug on it. The dress that I bought in a heartbeat, gives me wide possibilities to play around and create various glam styles.

Do you guys also have a Little Orange Dress that you feel proud of! Tell me about it, share your pics...
